Over 3,000 golfers from around the world compete in the annual Myrtle Beach World Amateur Golf Tournament every summer. Players complete 72 holes on a different course each day throughout the event. Over 60 courses will participate in the tournament including Barefoot Resort courses, Caledonia, Grande Dunes, Myrtle Beach National courses, Myrtlewood and many more.

Golfers of all skill levels are welcome to play. Those with a USGA-approved handicap are eligible for prizes in their respective flights, which are divided by age, handicap and gender. Non-handicapped players can play in the Gross or Just for Fun flights. The World Amateur website includes information about handicaps along with the event’s handicap committee.

Registration is $575/person. The tournament fee includes 72 holes of golf on a new course each day, a gift bag stuffed with swag totaling $300, entrance to the 19th hole party with heavy hors d’ouevres and an open bar, random drawings and competitions. Don’t miss the fun going on at the 19th hole with live bands every night, cornhole, a photo booth, indoor par 3 contest, demos, massages, Golden Tee and tons more competitions.
